STEP ONE

Choose Success

In ten years, you will look into a mirror and someone will stare back.  That person will be shaped by the thoughts of today. So if my thinking shapes my life, it is certainly safe to say it also establishes my mindset. How am I setting myself up for Success?

STEP TWO

Who Do You Want To Become

You have the opportunity to make a choice for your own improvement.  You can maintain your current “status quo”, or, you can make a choice.  The decision of which path to take is all yours to make!  

STEP THREE

Goals

Consider who you are right now and who is it that you are becoming. What are your Values?  Your Goals? Are your values and goals leading you in the direction of your desired success?

STEP FOUR

Time Management

You can’t make more time, only better choices! The intent of time management is to enhance the quality and balance of your life, not to speed it up! No matter who you are, your progress and success in life will depend, more than any other factor, on how you invest the 24 hours you are given each day.

STEP FIVE

Get Out Of Your Own Way

We all have an internal narrative that we hold about ourselves, Self Talk.  It is generally thought to be a mix of conscious and unconscious beliefs and biases that we hold about ourselves and the world around us.  Self talk can be positive or negative. Our patterns of self talk are all too often negative.  Our brains are hard wired to remember negative experiences over positive ones.  The key to this section is to focus on positive self talk.  Showing compassion and understanding to yourself for who you are and what you are going through.  It’s about switching the negative talk to positive.

Positive Visualization

We all want balance in life.  We all desire success.  However all too often we experience everything but balance and success.  Perspective begins to erode and we become consumed by emotions.  How and where did my pathway take a wrong turn? 

STEP SEVEN

Maximum Energy Lifestyle

God designed your body intricately.  When managed wisely - by eating right, avoiding harmful substances, getting enough sleep and exercising regularly – you will have better health and more energy.

Neglect is a silent killer. 

Energy Leaks – things that take your focus away from your goal. (Here are a few listed below)

  • Negativity – unhealthy emotions
  • Dehydration – your body is two-thirds water & brain 85% water.
  • Overeating – large meals overburden your digestive system.
  • Boredom – opposite of passion.
  • Irregular sleep – too much or too little.  Aim for 7-8 hours.
